I'd say the pricing of the 8C and 12T is quite OK but the 3600XT is way too expensive.

You think AMD isn't above trying to gouge people's wallets if they think they can get away with it? That's all the XT series is. It should have released at the same price-points as the Zen 2 chips they were replacing.

Also, AMD doesn't just want to be a "budget" brand. Bulldozer days are done.

At least they showed up some where. Hopefully they make it to the US. I for one do not care what people say about price, The whole world seems to be Price gouging why can't AMD make a buck?

Oh to be absolutely clear, not saying they can't make a buck. If they can, they should. Just saying it's bad value.

I will personally be waiting for Zen 3.

I wouldn't have a problem with the pricing if the processors justified the price. There's no reason to consider any of the XT processors. Why get an R5 3600XT instead of an R7 3700X? It's a $30 difference for two more cores and four more threads. Why get an R7 3800XT insead of an R9 3900X? The $20 gets you four more cores and eight more threads. If you don't need the extra cores and threads, then save money with an R7 3700X or 3800X since the R7 3800XT doesn't perform good enough to justify the price premium. There's no reason to get an R9 3900XT either, not when you can save $80 by getting an R9 3900X. This was an extremely boring refresh that offers very little for what you're paying. If you buy an XT processor, you simply don't care about how you spend your money. And that's fine. I'd rather spend my money wisely.
