You didn't prove anyone wrong. And yes, Athlon IIs don't have L3 cache on it at all. If something with the name Athlon has L3 cache on it, it's a Phenom. It's a rebrand. End of. It's not an Athlon II, even if that's its name.

Because I HAVE known this forever (from day one). All reviewers pointed out that a few small batches of the processor, when it came out, were gonna be rebranded Phenom IIs with disabled cores and/or cache.

I said code named... it's kinda hard knowing if you have a Phenom until it's unlocked. I don't mind AMD rebranding Phenoms but they've also started rebranding their graphics cards.
