It has a width of 150mm.

http://noctua.at/en/home-product/nh-u14s-tr4-sp3/specification

If it won't fit, I will go with the NH-U12S TR4 since it has only 125mm width, but I would prefer the larger U14S.

Very thankful for any replies, since I'm eager to place an order.

Gamers nexus has a video of that cooler attached to a zenith.

You may want to check that out as a baseline. The zenith has a socket that is further down than on the MSI, but it might at least help give you something to look at for scale.

What is the going rate for that bad boy any ways? I didn't even know they were for sale.

My MSI also arrives on Wednesday.

Going back to the original topic, MSI's literature claims that the vrms can push 60A.

If anyone has the MSI board in hand please post a picture of the back of it. There might be VRM components hiding there!

Why is it msi that's in stock? Every other brand is out of stock.

There should be five doublers and of course the SMD capacitors under it.

What's the pros/cons of 10 phase doubled from 5 true phases vs 8 true phases?
