Is anyone able to install Windows 10 64-bit on a 970 EVO Plus on this motherboard? Windows Setup cannot detect the drive in either AHCI or RAID mode. If anyone did, what BIOS options did you have to set? Thanks.

EDIT: Figured it out. The problem was I dd'ed the Windows 10 ISO to a USB drive, and even though it booted and ran fine, it was never able to load the drivers to detect the NVME or SATA drives. I ended up having to boot into Windows 7 and re-create the USB drive with Rufus, at which point the drivers loaded and the drives were easily detected. SMH...

Is it possible to change the Intel Wireless AC 3168NGW 1x1 433Mbps card with a more capable wifi card?
I mean it should have an M.2 port where the card is plug in ... specifically a M.2 2230 port.
Theoretically possible, but maybe the height of the new board should be the problem?
If I look for a M.2 2230 better wifi card will it fit the X470 Taichi?

It seems like you could upgrade that card.

See this little M.2 connector on the top left side? There it goes.

So if I keep it on M.2 2230 connection and for factor ... I'll be fine.
One topic solved the other ... usually M.2 WiFi-cards are sold as bulk. Probably the antenna connection must be a match,to be able to connect it to the new card.

But thanks for the clarifications.

Things are running well for me right now. I'm most likely not going to flash until I upgrade my CPU.
