Could you provide some more informations like:

What´s the maximum Tdie temperature while using Prime95 with "small FFT"?
Did you set the vcore while using ASrock Settings or AMD CBS?
Hint: Take a screenshot of HWInfo while running prime95 for about 10 minutes.

Try 3200 fast instead of 3466 safe. When my mind doesn't lie, 3200 with fast timings are better than 3466 and slow timings.

My 2700x goes to 4.2GHz with 1.33v and stays just below 80°C while running prime95.

Just upgraded from a 4770K to a 2700X. Pretty stoked and still amazed how long the 4770K lasted me. Back to AMD! The X470 Taichi mobo seems very nice as well. We'll see how it clocks the G.Skill Flare X B-die RAM.

Can this work on Normal Taichi x470? Or ultimate only? Thanks for getting them to do this. I have been going back and forth with them and they are just saying dumb stuff like "reset cmos", pull motherboard atx 24pin power connector, check back with us.

This is for the Ultimate only. At this link, you can get the latest beta bios from ASRock.
https://www.jzelectronic.de/jz2/index.php

It´s even newer than the one I´ve posted. (Taichi and Taichi Ultimate)

Awesome, that is pretty recent. Their tech support person just stopped responding to me after I told them "uhhh removing and replacing cmos doesn't change anything" lol. We'll see what happens!

Can anyone share a guide/article/video about overclocking?

I just got the 2700 and the x470 Taichi and I want to play around. I see a lot of people using Ryzen Master but I am not sure if bios would be better.

I have 2 360 rads in my loop so I'd like to see how far I can push this setup. Thanks!

1. Use the latest beta bios.
2. Use ASRock Settings and go to processor speed.
3. Set 4.1 as starting point with 1.35V
4. Test for stability with prime95 (smallFFT)
5. If stable, push to 4.2
6. Repeat in 50MHz steps until unstable
7. raise core voltage in 0.01 steps up to around 1.45 ish V until stable. (this should be considered max)

Remember that most 2700 hit a wall at around 4.2GHz. Maybe you get lucky and can go to 4.3 or 4.4.

thank you for this! I just built a system with an R5 2600 & Asrock Gaming K4 X470 and this worked a treat. 4.1 @ 1.35. I did try 4.2 but at the same voltage but that was a no go.

Why not trying 1.38V ?

Which LLC are you using?

That's alotttt better than the MSI...I need 1.45v easy for 4.3ghz. But I mean it's not that more hot enough to matter. I guess if anything dog the chip out more.
