if you upgrade to bios 2.0 will be rely helpful if you could set ddr4 voltage to 1.5V and see if you can boot in windows, will help me a lot.
Awful high voltage for DDR4 RAM, what's the RAM temps at 1.45v?

Picked an Open Box up for $145. Knew my offset from old B350-F that gave me 3.8GHZ. Anyways on this particular board using a 1700 what would be the best way to load it for testing, I've been using OCCT. Ran it for 4 hours and had no issues at 3.8ghz with a manual vcore 1.275

Should I change anything else? My CPU got to like 67C with OCCT

XMP profiles are ok with up to 1.5V you can find memory sticks with such profiles to buy, i don't think 1.5V is that high at all (there are people pushing 1.8V+ for bench marking into B-die sticks)
i'm not sure if i'll be able to measure the temperature, but they do not look hot/warm and there is plenty of airflow around them.

is the first time i have problems pushing this voltage in those sticks, i have a Intel setup if i move the sticks there they work fine at 1.6V with no issue.

RMA the board, new board arrived, same problem observed, maybe it's a bios thing

can anyone with X470 Taichi try the 1.5V and see if it works for them ?
let me know besides 1.5V DDR4 voltage if anything else was set

Did a new build based on the X470 Tachi and it's doing well.
Popped in a 2700X, some B-Die and one of the new Radeon VII's and it's off and running. ATM I"m letting it do a little folding and it's doing good but temps with the Radeon VII are kinda high. I know they typicaly run hotter than Nvidia so it's expected, for just everyday use temps are very good that I've seen so far.

No chance to OC it yet because this chip with the stock cooler is getting a little too hot itself, ordered another cooler to help with this problem https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...9SIA9ZH8KJ7227 and if the order goes through I'll have something good to use with it.

Anyone check the new 3.10 bios? Some of the options of the bios menu have been disappeared and have to admit that the system now runs a bit cooler but also the cores seems to run lower speed with PBO enabled.

What all is missing i'm still running 2.0 for x470 taichi and would like to know what latency's are and if there is still any inter core degradation in latency. and what options in the bios are removed? I'm running a 2600x and 3200mhz gskill FlareX samsung b-die at 3466 mhz and was wondering if this update effects ocing as well.

So many options compared to the old days! Have not had a lot of time to learn Ryzen& DDR4, finally got some SuperTalent B-Die to play with. Trying to decide on my next chip, 2600/2700X or just wait for Matisse.
