replace WiFi chip in asus rog X470-I ?

ASUS website doesn't say if the wifi chip in the rog strix X470-I gaming is M.2 or mPCie.

I'm looking to buy the strix X470-I which uses the Realtek 8822BE Wifi chip but I want to replace it with an Intel 8260 M.2 version.

Can't you take the shield off and see what it's using for connectivity?

I don't have the motherboard. I'm looking to buy it though that's why I'm asking.

I would think it's M.2 since that seems to be the most common version in ITX mobos but you never know.
