My motherboard is refusing to correctly set tRFC of 350.
No matter what I do, it stays at 300
Date and Time inside BIOS also refuse to be cleared out at all. All bios settings reset to default, date and time remain untouched.
BIOS has been reflashed several times to 2201 (the latest available on ASUS's website, dated 2015). I have had this BIOS version since late 2014 or early 2015, cannot remember, and have done some fantastic CPU and northbridge overclocking with it.
CMOS has been cleared multiple times
CMOS battery is fine.
Computer is 100% stable.
This tRFC lockdown is very odd, as is the date and time issue.
Has anyone with this motherboard experienced this?
Getting irritated that this motherboard is now doing this. I specifically remember it working just fine with my old KLEVV 2800 CL12 ram, back when I was pushing the limits of what people do with their daily FX rigs.
I have tried 4 other sets of ram that I own, and none of them allow this 350ns tRFC setting.
Is there no one else with this formula z board going through this?
I have not had (/noticed) this issue but the behavior of my board is/was/has been overtly fickle and I've had settings change on me.
Don't know if you are still working this but wonder if it is tied to a network setting that may be holding the date/time while it looks for an update?
