Ryzen 2400g compatible motherboard with 8 x sata

Hi Guys/Gals
Quick question, I am looking for a 2400g compatible ATX motherboard with DP 1.2 (4k 60hz) output and a minimum of 8 SATA ports.
Currently I have an older 8350 build that I use for my HTPC/server but its tired and not very power friendly. Its currently pulling about 160w at the wall on idle so as its on 24/7 its costing me about £30 a month to run.
I've looked at the Asus Prime X370 which meets my needs but I cant get a guarantee from any retailer that the BIOS has been updated to allow the 2400g to work straight out of the box and I don't want to go through the added expense and time of getting a cheap chip just to flash the BIOS.
So, an ATX with 8+ SATA ports and Display-port 1.2 that will work with the 2400g. As for how much I want to spend it needs to be south of £100.
If any kind soul can give options available I'd be forever in your debt (figuratively )

TIA

Alan

The only AMD X470 motherboard that i have ever seen that comes with x8 SATA ports is the Asrock X470 Taichi
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X470%20Taichi/index.asp

I have been looking to move to AMD myself and i need at least x8 SATA ports as well so i have looked at pretty much every motherboard under the sun and only the Asrock Taichi has that
No X470 boards with x10 SATA ports exist you will need a PCI-E board with a SATA controller and extra SATA ports for that

Edit: it might be cheaper for you to just buy the cheapest motherboard and then buying one of these

Hi Shilka Thanks for the reply.
Yea seen that and discounted it due to price. It would be totally wasted on a build that doesn't use it to its full potential.
I do have some PCI-E controller cards with SATA ports but I don't really like using these due to no SMART support (the ones I have don't and I don't know if any do)
The search continues.

There are no other options that i know of than those 3 so either buy an old board and update the BIOS
Buy an expensive overkill board or use those crappy PCI-E SATA boards

By the way are you sure that you cant update the BIOS of the Asus Prime X370 vis USB?
Many high end bords have an option where you can update the BIOS without having a CPU in the socket

There is also the Asrock X370 Taichi which has an amazing x10 SATA ports
