So I decided to play around with it as I had some free time today. I bumped vcore to max offset +0.3, I didn't mess with the p-states just yet cause it appears to me the voltage is already pretty high. I bumped SoC voltage by +0.15 and VDDP voltage by +0.1. Then I set it to 4.2ghz. Left memory at xmp profile. Restarted. Ran Prime95 for 10 minutes, which is a record. Got excited so I stopped prime, watched temps fall back to normal and then opened the browser to come here and say I might be on to something... then the PC just froze. Solid. No bluescreen, nothing. Just frozen. Had to turn it off with the power button. So I set bios back to default, loaded windows and opened bluescreenview. Only problem is it didn't create a dump file. And it's set to auto memory minidump. So I dunno…. we'll see if the PSU makes any difference. In the mean-time I'll keep looking online for someone with this exact motherboard who might have had better luck. I refuse to give up! lol I still think it's possibly a setting somewhere that I'm not getting right.
