Some of the B350/450 motherboards may struggle with the 105 watt CPUs. I have a backup b350 for my R5 1600 and it struggles with any speed bump above 3500 Mhz. The Crosshair 6 can deal with 4.0 Ghz from the same CPU. I may end up putting a 65 watt APU in the B350. I have never heard of anyone putting a APU in a Crosshair. It does not have a video port. I also don't think there is a bios that can disable the GPU section in a Crosshair. I believe the motherboards with APU support can? 4 cores & threads could work well enough to run RX 5700 later on when you could afford it. Not the greatest, but still usable.
