Well they will have to release a new bios foir the XT processors and in 3 months for the Zen 3 cpus. I will not jump aboard very early for the zen 3 cpus. I will wait until they start to be discounted a bit. They do not plan on having anything above 16 cores for the desktop for Zen 3. I guess that will have to wait for 5nm EVU.
Yes it is sort of weird that they removed the two Beta bios's. I mean one of them should have been a final release by now already. If you take the 1.92 bios was released 28/04/2020 that means it was 2 months since release.

As for Zen 3, I believe you have a point and I'll more than likely do the same.

Well I've just flashed it and everything works fine. Had to take pictures of my bios settings as cannot transfer my previous saved settings onto the new bios, but it works pretty well thus far.

So its outta beta stage. I hate their "release date" practice. It should say when it's out of beta not when first they started working on it or recieved from AMD.

Boot time

Hey guys! Love my x570 Ace. Stable and great board.

My one question is this: what are your post times/bios times (found under startup in task manager). I am averaging 15 seconds. Is this normal for this board?

My average is 22 seconds. I have 10 startup tasks and a few in the background. 15 seconds seems pretty good. Autoruns64.exe https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sys...loads/autoruns can show you all of the startup tasks and a few other things. I used it to clean up some uninstalled entries that were no longer valid.

I installed this 1.9 bios a few days ago. It looked promising, I was getting better performance at my normally stable overclock of 4.2 GHZ on all cores. I used my traditional values for dram voltages and cpu voltages. Performance was very good, but I started notcing error messages and resulting reboot after data collection at least twice daily. I had to reduce cpu speed to 4.0GHZ which is way below my typical frequency settings to eliminate the reboots. It is NOT a cooling issue. I have an Alphacool Eisbaer Extreme 280 water cooling and it is one of the best AIO's on the market and . I did not have this issue with 1.8 bios nor 1.7 or 1.6 version bioses. I would like to know if anyone had similar issues.

Technology is NOT a liberator . Whom technology serves is a class question.
