Yes it was reaching 93-100°C.

If you're on stock or on auto +PBO (i.e. < 1.32V) the temperatures should be below 80°C or so even with R9 3900X.

Has anyone been able to find amd cool n quiet in the bios of the extreme 4? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It also had bad contact on the VRM heatsink, not enough proof for you to be bad-mouthing a product, and promoting gigabyte as usual.

Right... yet I also stated that the Z370 series wasn't a good buy other than the Gaming 7 and that the B450/X470 series wasn't a good buy except the Gaming 7.


Just look at the components themselves and the results HWinfo and HWUnboxed have obtained...
