X570 Aorus Master/CH8 Hero Cons now 2 months after launch?

Basically i'm between buying one of these 2, Gigabyte board has more hardware value (more reinforced slots, backplate, 3rd m.2 slot, dual bios, socketed bios, slightly better dac) but Asus has better/more mature software and ports (more usb 3.1 ports/sata/fans, retry button, watercooling sensor and pump high amp headers, SPI flashrom header, safe boot, higher capacity bios). VRMs should be ok for both, Asus has more capacity, Gigabyte more real phases.

Now the cons i heard where more about the Gigabyte board:

- Software in general including bios, sleep issues, raid issues, slow boot time

- Dram capacitor placement doesn't allow you to mount a NH-D15? (seems not to be true)

- Bad PCH fan placement

- More chance of defective board out of the box (this is true from experience probably because they are made in china vs taiwan)

Now regarding RAM overclocking Samsung Bdie/Hynix CJR/Micron-E die i am not sure which one fares better, Asus should be slightly better due to software tweaks, MSI is the one with the records though. ACE is an ok board they just picked random things to add, but has a PCH heatpipe, however their bios updates are really infrequent (plus the only way to get it for 360usd is with mail-in rebate of which would be difficult for me to get)

CPU overclocking on the other hand should be depended more on the silicon lottery than any of these motherboards.
