Not that surprised about the results.


Asus X570-P = 8 Vishay powerstages with heatsinking better than TUF Plus apparently (both are 4 PWM phases so the extra powerstages are sort of limited in this load scenario)

Gigabyte Gaming X = 10 sets of discrete Onsemi mosfets (doubled low side = half resistance), with mediocre heatsinking

Asrock Pro4 = 8 sets of discrete Sinopower mosfets
MSI X570-A = 8 sets of discrete Onsemi mosfets , with heatsinking that is probably worse

Personally I have never seen a motherboard throttling a CPU on normal load. Shame on MSI, they have even bad post launch support.
