Jumping to X570 and 3900X.. Board advice please!

My whole X470 experience has been buggy from Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 to my current CH7. Ready to jump ship since I have my old setup sold. I have been eyeballing the MSI MEG X470 ACE. I read a few issues about the gigabyte and heard the Taichi runs warm. Before I pull the trigger I wanted to get this communities input. As always .. thank you for your replies!

Given the reviews I have read, Meg X570 ACE seems like a very good choice. The Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master is apparently also really nice (and stable) and the direct competitor to it, but after your prior Giga X470 Gaming experience, you might be happier with the MSI Meg ACE.

I love my Gigabyte board, and hear great things about the master. The best thing about a Gigabyte board is the support on OCN, one of their Reps posts and tracks issues to resolve them as soon as possible. Check here:

The Master was the only other board I had truly considered. I read about a few bugs and some guys upset enough to say the board should be recalled lol. Initial releases seem to go this way though. My issue was my last Gigabyte board the bios chip corrupted on me. Caused a ton of problems. I ran into a group of guys in a thread who all had the same problem with the bios. I also found my CH7 was far easier to get my ram stable over the gigabyte. Maybe next time around I will give them a go again.

I know what you mean. The CH7 thread was constantly getting updates and there was some good guys in there helping out a lot. The MSI MEG ACE thread needs to grow! lol. My CH7 had issues using programs like Icue and CAM together with Sensor monitoring. I would get this instant off effect. They said bios updates fixed it but it never resolved mine. I worked around it. I really hated the LONG LONG POST/boot of my CH7. After building some Taichi builds I was shocked how fast Asrock boards POST/boot in comparison to Asus. Is the MSI slow to POST as well?
