FROM SP3 TO TR4

i have a 16 core epyc SP3 socket and i want turn my motherboard to sp3 compatible according from my research the tr4 is cut down sp3 socket and is locked via software and i want to unlock it if i put cpu microcode and agesa this will work?

You could block the ID pin with non conductive tape to prevent it from making contact, and it will power on, but won't post due to bios lockout. Not to mention, even if you patch the bios, the ram channels are not complete, so bandwidth on ram would be cut in half. It's a pointless exercise
