where do you guys plug D5 pump on this board?

I think it should be plugged in W_PUMP, but i have it plugged into CPU header.

Maybe there is a spliter i need?

If i plug into CPU header and change in AI Suite type of CPU FAN to PUMP it can only do benchmarks, but there is no possibility to set the curve ...

btw:
chipset TRX40 runs HOOT and i don't have many PCIE lanes have devices connected ..
I wonder what happens if I plug more PCIE disks..

I've tried 1900 (wouldn't boot) but without any SOC & IF voltage changes, don't want to play with those.
I'll stay where I'm now as it's 100% stable and testing RAM stability is annoying as f***

This solution worked for me

Just looking through this thread, and I had the same issue with my 3 GPUs initially and found a solution over on the Asus forums: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...zenith+extreme

Edit: Just realized the quick reply didn't reference the original problem--this seems to fix the problem where the Zenith II Extreme doesn't post with 3 GPUs installed.
Start with fewer than 3 GPUs to turn on the 4G Decoding in the bios, shutdown, add the 3rd GPU back in and it should post on the next start. Note that any bios reset means you'll need to repeat this.

The lowest I can get is 71,3ns

I have no issues with Armoury Crate or RGB in general.
i get sub 70ns with 3770 14-15-14-13-24 1.5v. bclk is on 102.8. Fclk on 1884.
sub 61ns with legacy compatibility mode on.
these are MT proven settings.
maybe the trcdwr can be tighten further but i haven't got around to test that one yet. will report later on that when i have time to.

as for benching only settings i can do:
sub 69ns with 3733 12-12-12-12-24 1.85v 100 bclk and 1866 fclk
have not tested compatibility mode with this on but it should give me sub 60ns.
Also have not really tested cl12 with bclk oc either.

I have dual rank bdies so they refuse to post on 4133+ on my board no what how loose the timings are or how high the voltage is.
since you lose ~6ns of latency with 2:1 mode on, it's only worth it to run 4400 c16 or higher MT with equivalent or tigher CLs otherwise the latency penalty is too huge.
so this is likely the best i can do on my setup.

I have briefly tested 104.8 bclk as well. but at that bclk pbo freaks out and i can't get it to reliably work so that's likely not going to be messed with

what is legacy compatibility ?

sub 69 is insane i get 72-76.... but i have strange issues e.g all rgb connectors starts to blink or they turn off etc..

could you post your bios settings?

MacMus are you using the latest bios on your Alpha or did you leave it on 0202?

what are your PBO settings guys ?

On my 3960x anything higher then 4400 on PBO. I have enabled PBO set + 200MHZ and set scalar to x10, but it still does not help to get 4.5.
What is the the issue ?

My temps are max 70x in load.

Memory stability does seem improved on the alpha. I wasn't able to achieve stability at cl16 3600 on my old board but now I can with the alpha using the same settings. Or maybe the new 0807 bios has something to do with it...not sure.

After upgrading bios to 0807 I have experienced an issue during a boot. PC reboots multiple times after a cold boot before it gets to Windows, from 3 to up to 10 times.
Nothing has changed but the bios. Just in case I reseated the RAM but it didn't help. Any ideas?

----------------------------
It was the bios. I reverted back to 0202 and the issue went away.
