MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wi-Fi RGB question

So I just got a new mobo, cpu and ram and I'm installing it. I've got a few questions.... first one is the RGB. There are so many connectors and thingies that could be connected. This is what I got:

Sharkoon TG5 RGB case
MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wi-Fi motherboard
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X cpu
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC 11G graphics card
CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18 2x8GB DDR4 3600MHz CL18 ram
Antec VP600P psu

What should I do first. I have this RGB controller that came with the case. I think it should be connected to the motherboard, is that correct?

Thanks a lot for all your help in advance.

You should replace the PSU its not all that great and its by far the worst part you have
And yes if the case has an RGB controller you hook that up to the motherboard but be aware that you need to use the 3 pin 5v header NOT the 4 pin 12v header otherwise you will fry the controller

Thanks for the info. I'm still gonna try with that PSU I have. Maybe I'll replace it, but I don't know for certain yet. Thanks for the advice. I'll connect it to one of the JRAINBOW controllers on the bord with 3-pin 5V.

So now I have another problem with my PSU. I'm missing a connector for the CPU Power. Do I have to buy a new PSU? It's not a modular PSU.

If its not modular how can it be missing?

Edit: if you are talking about the 8 pin and the 4 pin on the top left you dont need to use the 4 pin it's an extra that's optional
You should still buy a better PSU what you have is old and not all that great

What does the extra optional 4-pin do?

Another question: what psu do you recommend for these specs?

Its there for extra power in case you are doing extreme overclocking

As for a PSU you got the Seasonic Focus or some of the rebrands like the Phanteks AMP / Asus Strix / Antec Earthwatts Pro Gold or you got the Fractal Design Ion+
If you cant spend that much and can live with something okey there is the Corsair CXM

Bought it, thanks for warning me about replacing the PSU. It will have the extra 4-pin connector I was missing with my current PSU, right?
