The Gigabyte bios can also erase anything set settings/XFR enhancement section when it resets. You may not have everything auto but you should also check if the Fclk is running at the right frequency when you boot successfully.

The trident Z Neos just post - even if not close to stable it'll post - makes it easier to define it's limit at varying temperatures.

I misread your original post and thought your were saying people were having troubles with TridentZ Neos. Now I see you're saying they're easy to post with.

The Corsairs were just to rule out bad memory. My primary kit is TridentZ (non-Neo) 3200CL14 2x16GB. These are B-die (like the Neos?) but maybe not as good a binning.

Yeah... as per the main thread. B-die is best for low latency clocks but it seems to have the most issues with regard to posting - just more finicky I guess with B die. Once you fine-tune it, you should be good. In the main thread there are some suggestions for the termination settings - try those and you should be good.

Congrats on you figuring out some way to success in per ccx overclock - I do think it's better this way (better performance and lower temperatures overall)

BIOS 12E

The new 12E BIOS seems to have eliminated my need to reboot twice after memory settings changes (so far). That's a good sign!
