New Build Coming. What B550 Motherboard?

Looking to build a new rig. What is the most anticipated B550 ATX board under $220? I was thinking the MSI Mag Tomahawk. Is there a better one coming? Asus Strix? Wifi Card would be nice too.

Would go for the Asus Strix, due to it's First Rate Intel Lan connector.

Always purchase Intel and forget the rest, not worth the heartache using some other junk-ware Lan connection, made by Realtek. Avoid like Covid-19 because it's terminal if you get it on your desktop/PC case.

The X570 Tomahawk is a great board for $219. For B550 with Wifi the Asus Strix B550-F gaming or Gigabyte Aorus pro is $189. Under $200 B550 is a good choice but over that your better off with a X570 board.

Have just put down an order for this;

https://www.pccasegear.com/products/...fi-motherboard

It has 2 items worth using and vital to myself;

Intel LAN and a Toslink connection. Enough said here.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on why Realtek is terrible? While I agree that Intel Lan is far superior, Realtek's drivers have been sold the past 5 years (in my case, over motherboard for personal and client builds). They consistently hit target speeds if the bandwidth is there and have yet to hear of any driver issue so far.

If you want to save some money, Gigabyte's Aorus Pro AC looks quite promising for 180-190$. It seems to have most of the sauce that the flagship Aorus Master has, eg. 6 layer PCB, same memory layout/QLC list, good power delivery, ALC1220 sound codec, lots of USB, HDMI 2.1, same fan headers etc. Gigabyte's whole B550 lineup lacks front panel USB Type C for some reason though...
