AsRock Creator trx40 - what cable to use to power the '6 pin 12V Power Connector' for quad gpu support?

Hi there,

I'm building a quad GPU build and the manual for the AsRock Creator trx40 states, I need to power the '6 pin 12V Power Connector'. What power cable do I use?

I have the Corsair AX1600i PSU and the only cable that fits into a 6pin is a PCIe cable, but I wanted to double-check.

Thank you.

6-pin PCIe power cable.
No reason to connect it, unless you are using multiple (4, according to ASRock) GPUs.

Thank you for your fast reply.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing: using 4 graphics cards.
