well..just an update..did searched for a new PSU today but i couldn't find FD Newton R3 (out of stock).Enermax Lepa (600 or 650?), FSP, and many more also out of the damn stock.

the only thing i can get is corsair cx600.bought it in doubt, but found out they were CWT DSA II..well, i hope this would last long..and i got no problem until now..no more coil whining except my old hitachi drive thumb.gif

but like 2 days ago, my PC started to act strange.everytime i turn her on, she just don't give any response!.no beep, no POST.i have 2 RAM here, and i found 1 of them were bad.
but it's not the main problem!mad.gif .she still act the same!.unless i reset the cmos, she just wouldn't boot.and everytime i want to set up the bios, she wouldn't respond again!.she just shown a underscore blinking on the corner.

i wonder if this is caused by the RAM, or the PSU, or the board?.i'm sure my GPU is fine.i run it w/ kombustor, not even 1 artifact spotted, no overheat.

thanks smile.gif
Hint I had learnt how to reset bios before I started to overclock

Wrong old computers will not reset even if you use the jumper
You need to take away the battery run it for 5-10mins and never put the battery in and then power off use jumper and then put the jumper onto normall then
it will boot and reset thumb.gif

That is what it took to reset my dads computer the chinese brand mobo on the old am2 cpu thumb.gif
Newer gen mobo like my 990fxa gd80 only needs to have 1Sec - 3 sec jumper short circuit
and it will be reseted thumb.gif

Once you get to high FSB and high clocks its not easy to reset bios any more on old mother boards thumb.gif
300FSB will boot and then refuse to reboot untill you fully turn it off then boot up again thumb.gif

Hi Sakae48
I had the same prob, but! It´s in the BIOS, according to your specific BIOS, some settings are off! Or should be turned on! It´s specific to your BIOS, thus makes it hard to find solutions for!
