I'm still on Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro card due to my monitor only having DVI-DL (Korean QNIX 27" 1440p IPS that oc to 100 Hz).

I would just wait for RX 5700 reviews. Partners non-reference cards should be out soon after. ASRock and Sapphire partnered up in 2017

ASRock Phantom Gaming cooler from E3 looks very familiar.
Hopefully the August release date rumors are correct for aftermarket design cards.
And RX 5700XT overclocking headroom is similar to Radeon VII

Thank You (just happen to work out to be both Sapphire cards R9 290 and the Fury)

good catch about the 7/07/2019 chipset drivers for Ryzen 3000-series to enable CPPC2

CCPC2 [Collaborative Power Performance and Control 2]
"A feature inside the ACPI spec that puts the processor's firmware in control of frequency selection.
Compared to the legacy pStates, this drops Ryzen's clock selection speed from 30ms to 1-2ms. Good for burst workloads"

Pretty sure that is why they can drop the AMD Ryzen Balanced power configuration for Win10

https://twitter.com/Thracks/status/1140843448372797440

To clarify: 1) New scheduler (topology awareness) is live now in Win10 1903 for all Ryzen. Anyone can test on any Ryzen. 2) UEFI CPPC2 ("faster clock ramping") will come in a later driver that adds support for 3rd Gen Ryzen. It's not in this package.

update:

"The chipset driver people will need (and have been waiting for) is version 1.07.07. You will be able to get it directly from AMD.com on July 7" - Robert Hallock
