That cpu is no longer listed in that site along with the R5 3600. Wutsup?

Dam 12 yrs.

EDIT: Found the 3600 but the 3900 is OOS.

By Built-in Benchmark Queen:
My 2.5 years old delidded 7980xe @ 4600mhz all core with 49ns memorylatency (4000c16 twekaed) is faster than 3950x max overclocked on water in every scenario. Pretty good for a ancient cpu
In gaming it has no chance vs my new 10900k @ 5400mhz and 4600c16 tweaked memory. ~35ns memorylatency.

I lucked out and grabbed it right as it went up Listed as Packaging and they charged my card so i think im pretty safe, seems it sold out like, an hour ish ago by Reddit with people getting emails if they didnt get one already

And yeah, something like that.. I had the 64 X2 until the Q9300 was a thing. Lots of fond memories of my AMD 486 DX4/100, K6 200mhz, Athlon XP 1800+ and the 64 X2 3800+ however

-edit- Yes I'm old T_T

I ordered the Godlike too! It's going to arrive in 5 hours, looks like the whole country only had a single Godlike in stock. I couldn't get my hands on anything quicker than R5 3600 though so I took this one and preordered 3900X at Caseking Germany.

That said, I sold my golden 9900k (5.2 1.28v), the Apex and DARK without regrets. Been waiting for a competitive AMD CPU for years. My first own PC was Athlon XP 2600+ so I always get sentimental with AMD.
I hope the Navi 5950 is going to make a stir vs RTX2080.

I hope we see some high end Navi parts to put some pressure on the 2080 and 2080 Ti like the 5700 and 5700 XT did on the 2060/2070

And same, i get quite sentimental with AMD since my earliest gaming rigs were all AMD powered and my first proper 3d GPU was ATI (A Rage 128)

My motherboard is the only thing thats yet to ship

Haven't decided if I'm going to jump on the 3950X or wait for next gen.

Was going to throw my 9900K under a custom loop but it seems kinda silly now.

AMD FX-8320 Vishera @ X4 5022mhz (+43.5%)

3900X seems to be the sweet spot. Had a scare yesterday, after swapping the SSD with the same OS installation to the new setup, I was getting like 200k WHEA errors in HWinfo, the system was very laggy and finally froze 😄
Threw out the Coolermaster PCIE riser, flashed BIOS (my Godlike came with the old v.1.00 BIOS) and now it runs.

Sweet spots to me seem to be 3600, 3700X and 3900X

3600X isnt worth it and neither is the 3800X. You can easily OC the 3600 to about where the X is and the 3800X i doubt is going to be that much quicker than a 3700X

IMHO in gaming if you're building a rig you can get the 3700X and a 2070S for the price of a 9900K and a 2060S, the former will perform a lot better than the latter (Or heck, get a 5700 XT and save all the money) and for productivity/creative workloads the 3900X just is an absolute unit
