AMD 3900x build, what RAM?

I am upgrading my ancient system and have decided on everything except the RAM. I am a little confused and was looking for some help.

I ordered a 3900x and will purchase the motherboard, HSF and PSU in the attachment. But I am having a hard time deciding on what RAM and wanted to see if OCN has some suggestions. I was looking for 3600mhz, CAS 16/17 and a total of 16GB. I was hoping to spend somewhere between $150-$250.

Also as a side note, anyone have any thoughts on the PSU? I want something fully modular, and highly efficient. I know the 1000w, is overkill for my system but in the future I am upgrade my GPU.

Thank you for your help!

You dont need a 1000 watt PSU if you are only going to have single GPU even if you get a Titan a 750 watt is more than power enough

This build will be used for a few years, so I don't know if I will upgrade to Multiple GPU's or not, that is why I figured it doesn't hurt to go with 1000w.

Multi GPU support sucks and its not getting better so its waste of time and money so dont bother its terrible
Edit: by the way the cooler you picked might not come with an AM4 backplate if its a model made before 2019 so if you get old stock you cant use it on AM4

Good to know, is the model of PSU alright? I can lower the voltage, I just want efficiency and read good things about this PSU. Any thoughts on a RAM kit?

The newest AX are rebrands of the Seasonic Prime or Prime Ultra but at a lower cost so its one of the best series you can buy
Also see the edit in my last post if you missed it but if you want to make sure a Noctua AM4 kit is $8 https://www.newegg.com/p/13C-0005-00...0114-_-Product

Or you can buy the S version of the D15

May I ask why? It ships with an air cooler, and I have seen benchmarks with air coolers.

Yeah, it ships with an air cooler for functioning purposes only.
Anyone that buys 3900X ends up OCing it. And that cooler is up for that CPU heat.

The NH-D15 BLKKROW picked is on par with most 240mm CLC coolers if not better so if you are going to suggest one of those its not going to be better its going to be worse in every way
