AMD Ryzen system lives!

Got it up and running. Completely stock.

I have no idea if this bench is good or not...

Sweet all AMD rig!

Heaven benchmark is primarly a GPU bench, usually I run that default configurations so it's hard to say "good score!" with the custom settings since there's nothing to compare it to. Try running the 3dmark firestrike suite if you want to show off the GPU, and Cinebench R15 is a good bench for the CPU with lots of results to compare to.

also, pics of rig and put the full specs in your sig so we can see your ram config too!

That looks really good.. makes the 900D i have look disgustingly ugly.

I have a 3700x on the way but hanging on to my old video cards for now.. Just tried to match your settings in heaven for a reference.

this is a 2500k @ 4.7ghz and 980Ti at 1450mhz.. Scores seem too close even for my OC, 5700 XT is leagues ahead of the 980Ti as demonstrated here:

I would definitely switch over the firestrike or maybe superposition for benching

Not a fan of rgb but it looks good. Noticed your ram sticks are in A1B1, surprise it booted fine. Others won't.

By Built-in Benchmark Queen:
My 2.5 years old delidded 7980xe @ 4600mhz all core with 49ns memorylatency (4000c16 twekaed) is faster than 3950x max overclocked on water in every scenario. Pretty good for a ancient cpu
In gaming it has no chance vs my new 10900k @ 5400mhz and 4600c16 tweaked memory. ~35ns memorylatency.

Check your motherboard's manual. Usually its A2B2.

From X570-E Rog Strix manual:

Might not be hurting performance any, but good practice to do a2b2 for sure

I saw an AM4 motherboard that goes with A1B1 but can't remember which one. It will probably not make a difference.

Op, how do you find the RX 5700 XT? Is the fan in it loud? I see your case is airy and thermals should not be bad.

Thus far, I’m pleasantly surpriaed. The 5700 XT is quieter than my Wraith Prism. I’m completely unsure on temps, as I haven’t. Haven’t checked on load. But it’s 41C idle.
