Ryzen 3000 on X470 mobo pci lanes

I wonder its ok we dont get Pcie 4.0 but we have more lanes ?
I mean so far on old zen+ if i use the 3.0 pcie for a graphic card and use the first m.2 slot the other one lose speed right ?
Now what ? still the same or thx to the major number due to the new cpu this problem its bypassed ?

Thx

B450 and X470 let you use PCI full speed if you use one M.2 (main one). If you attach a second M.2, then your PCI drops to 8X. Current GPU's don't need 16x, so there is no issue there. My only issue is only one out of two M.2 slots have heatsinks for ITX boards which are the type of boards I like.

I would have to assume you'd need x570 board if you want to get more lanes from the CPU. Don't think x470 would magically read more lanes than designed for off the CPU.
