Water cooling generally has two viable use cases:
- you are doing crazy overclocking and are building a custom loop (not AIO) from basic components
- you have a tiny or very restricted airflow case where an AIO overcomes the case limitations (using a SG13 with a full sized ATX PSU for example)

For normal use cases in a reasonable sized case with good airflow stick to one of the better known large tower air coolers. Cheaper, better performance and not going to spring a leak or have th epump fail.

OR : you want quiet quality cooling.

custom loop is always gonna dance around air coolers, even at ultra low RPMs. Do it properly, n you'll have a near whisper quiet monster.

my current pump has run almost 24/7 for 7 years now, I bet it'll do 10. Last pump? Idk, sold off after 5 years.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

the one i am considering is the hi100 or 110, the icue case looks to cool well on its own, but no i dont plan to do monster ocs on the cpu. but quietness would be awesome tho haha. While not important the games i play or some are cs go, division 2, f1 series, gta v. and in the future, plan to play iracing and possibly red dead

So I seen the ion psu that was recommended to me has been sold out and was gonna get the rmx one, but I noticed the icue psu and I'm getting the icue case, is the Corsair icue psu as crappy as the rmi psu?

If you do decide to go with the 3900X be prepared to get a nice tower cooler (I agree with the Fuma 2 or Noctua D15 recommendations) or some kind of water cooling solution. I recently upgraded to the 3900x and it can put out some heat. Also I've never been a fan of the AIO cooling offerings. Have the folks help you put something reasonable together in the watercooling section it will be more than worth it if you decide to go that route. Just make sure you leak test, leak test, leak test.
