Thanks. I think I've decided against the 3900x. I think I'm going 3700x.

The Seasonic Focus is better if you can find that in stock

My suggested build, can shave some by getting a 650w instead of 750w and I think that Mobo has a non WiFi for 20$ cheaper if I am not mistaken.

Down-clock the ram to 3600-3800 with tight timing.

Case is your personal choice and for a cooler Arctic freeze II is amazing as an aio with a very good price or just get a dark rock pro/d15 if you want.

until you mentioned it I've never even heard of the Arctic freeze cooler I must be either quite naive with coolers I'm quite set my way what's on my old computer which was the 212 Evo and me looking at the 110aio but passing on it, and thanks for the shout out on the power supply I'm still looking to it it will pretty much either be the rmx 850 or that one that you just had in that link that's Platinum rated, I know that this gets mentioned a lot and I used to be much more up on power supplies and how that stuff works but it's been a couple years since I've really been into the building part of this, but why is it that I keep hearing that people need 850 Watts when you have a 400 watt system, running one 1070 ti like I am, tho next year I'll probably upgrade my GPU so whatever the top end Nvidia card there is. Sorry for the long winded reply

As long as you are not messing around with volt mods LN2 cooling or multiple GPU´s a 550-650 watt is more than enough power
You dont need an 850 watt PSU for a 400 watt build its overkill and a waste of money

thanks, the most I'd ever do for a GPU is a xx80ti type card. Wouldn't do sli for many reasons, including alot of games I read are dropping support

Assuming no overclocking, the 2080TI draws around 90 to 100w more than your current 1070 at maximum load.

Which is simply not under any circumstances going to bump you up to needing a 800 watt supply.

When reading older articles bare in mind, older cards tended to be more power hungry then newer models, ATI cards generally needed more power than the equivalent performance Nvidia , and overclocking can change the power needed drastically.

Ditto on the seasonic. I'm new to water-cooling and overclocking. I've been experimenting the last 3 months and I do love water-cooling.
However, for ease of use I would lean towards AIO's. Even after cleaning out my radiators and installing a filter... I have to keep cleaning out the cpu water block.
I did a poor job cleaning out one of the cheap 360 RAD which explained some of it. The rest I blame on the opaque white coolant. It's a pain.
