G.Skill Ripjaws 3200 CL14

So I'm rocking the ripjaws 3200 cl14 2x8gb memory and I have to say I've been pretty impressed with it. Using it on a x570 crosshair hero viii board with a 3800x. So far I've used dram calculator and set it to the 3600 Fast profile and it had some errors using the recommended 1.4 volts. So I upped voltage to 1.45 and it is now rock stable. I even tightened the timings slightly beyond that and it is stable, using 14-15-15-14-30 at the moment, with everything else according to the calculator. If I go 3733 with looser timings my performance is actually lower. I'm a little nervous to crank the voltage up much higher in an attempt to get tighter timings. Has anyone else worked with this particular kit with ryzen 3000 series on a x570? If so, what have you been able to achieve with it?

And just in case someone asks, yes this kit has Samsung b-die.

Thanks!

I haven't gone that far yet. I wanted to see if I could tighten it up at 3733 (1866) first. I'm scared that unless I pump 1.5+ volts into the memory 3800 might not boot. And I don't have a faster kit on hand to test if the cpu can do it. When I get home this evening though I might try and see if I can push this kit that high with cl16 or 17. I guess the worst it can do is not boot or crash lol.

Trying for 1900 FCLK is the first thing you do when OC-ing memory on Zen 2. That's how you determine which frequency you should aim for (3800/3733/3600)

Ok, got it set at 3800, 1900 fclk @ 16-16-17-16-32-48 1.46v. Tests stable. So back to my original question.... anyone with this exact kit have any experience pushing it to its limits?

Also, I just realized that my pc at work is logged into a different overclock.net account than my home computer. Not sure how that happened. Sorry about that.

The model number of your kit means nearly nothing
We could estimate what IC you have , kiinda
But we can not know what PCB you have - soo it's impossible to tell what would run and what not
It's only possible to estimate what maaybe could work, before you hit limits of your PCB and need to push voltage high
We can also check if your board would even be able to rock this type of PCB well , but that's about it

Please give a thaiphoon burner report and at best make some bright pictures on one of the dimms
Soo we can figure out what PCB this really is
Example taken from here:

The center picture a bit further away while the races are still visible
Single Rank dimms will only have ICs on one side (current one at least)

I can't actually remove my ram very easily at the moment because I had to do some pretty weird stuff to force my 240mm AIO to fit at the top of my p400s case and it barely clears the ram. I really don't want to uninstall the cooler to extract the ram. I did however take a thiaphoon burner screenshot.
