Power supply

First time build, have I bought the wrong power supply?

Spec
Corsair rm650x
Corsair mp510
Corsair 3600 low profile ram
Rx 5700 mech oc
Msi tomahawk max
Corsair 460x rgb
Ryzen 3600x

My graphic card box’s says minimum of 600watt power supply and online it says 750? https://www.ebuyer.com/959235-msi-ra...hoC0MoQAvD_BwE

Do I need a bigger power supply?
Thanks.

I would think a 650W PSU would be fine. I'm not a huge fan of the Corsair RM series, but if you have the X variant that's a plus. You generally want to get a PSU a little bigger than you need but looking at your specs I think 650W should be fine. EDIT: Unless of course you plan to go nuts with overclocking, if you have everything running at it's max potential then you're going to be pushing that PSU fairly hard. Otherwise, 650W is fine.

no.

and a word of advice, forget that box and online recommendations; they guesstimate for power hog systems ie threadripper/HEDT. i'll bet you a dollar to a doughnut that if you get a kill-o-watt meter, that rig won't see higher than 350 watts gaming - inc OCing air/water.

i have to run prime95 and kombuster (fuzzy doughnut) to go over 520 watts myself.

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.
