I need Help with bios

I did a new build with 3600x and a 370 chipset crosshair vi. I know the bios needs to be flashed I tried it once. The mobo shows 8x on the Qled screen as in 8 and nothing behind it no light in the second character space. I plugged in a speaker and no boot sounds are made, it just sits and idles....I did try to flash the bios the lights did everything right but I am getting no boot. Tried some more times, hopefully I didn't just brick this.

Thanks for help and suggestions.

So Ive never done this before and was told it would be done after the flashing. Well mine flashed 3 times then went solid. If you know what this means let me know im assuming it didn't work....

Edit: apparently it flashes slow then fast then turns off. Mine only flashed a couple times then stayed solid..

You need to make sure the USB drive is FAT32 and is plugged into the correct USB port on the back of the MB, and the BIOS file is named correctly. Your manual should indicate the correct USB port. From what you have described the issue is one of the 3 things I mentioned.
