I'm having this issue (It's happened with both Skyrim and The Old Republic) where, roughly every 2-10 minutes, my game will minimize at random without me doing anything. At one point, I sat there staring at the screen (to make sure I wasn't hitting any keys to force this) and it just happened. I turned off all of my anti-virus software, firewalls, closed all of my applications, etc. and I tried just running the game and it STILL happened.

I'm at a loss for a resolution to this problem on my own so any help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be windows wanting to change to windows basic mode while your gaming. Sometimes it glitches and the box asking you to change it doesn't come up. Atleast that's what I get time to time.

No. It's still happening. It did it literally less than a minute when I maximized "The Old Republic" after checking to see if I was out of Windows Basic mode.

EDIT: Also, if this "boxless" basic switch glitch is happening, what can I do to prevent/stop it?

The game doesn't "window." It completely minimizes and when I maximize the game, it maximizes back into fullscreen, not into windowed mode.

Had this happening with Halo the other day. Don't know what caused it but just decided to stop playing while i searched around... didn't find anything.
