So tempted to try it again now that it's out of dev build.....

I hate that start screen though but I'm told you can get rid of it/make it more like WIn7.

Edit: downloading now..
Using FireFoxt Nightly (x64) it was going pretty slow 150kb/sec
Started IE and it's going about 850kb/sec...

Wish it would use more of my 30Mb download...

It's a conspiracy, Microsoft knows you aren't using their product so they're crippling your download speed, lol

I downloaded with Chrome and got around 700KB/s. It crashed twice at exactly 2.0 GB completed mad.gif third time worked

Wish there were more customization of metro. Guess we'll have to wait for 3rd party developers for that. Hopefully Microsoft allows this

If not im sure there will be 3rd party tools and applications to alter the design and looks of Metro along with functionality.

I think there will be after the newnest of metro wears off. Unless Microsoft tries to block this but I don't think they will. You already have third party apps bringing back the start button

Has there been any critical/stable updates released recently? cause I am not going to go back to Windows 8 until most games run fine. :/

I like the look of Windows 8, the performance we see a little later. Looking forward W8 final relase. A future Windows I could say, with various improvements and applications.
