yeah, it does - unfortunately being a member of OCN doesn't protect you from faulty hardware! smile.gif

Alright so I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers in safe mode and rebooted and it booted into regular windows just fine, however the artifacts remain on the screen. Does this confirm the card is shot?

EDIT: Just reinstalled the drivers and rebooted, same problem occurred. Cards dead.

if theres artifacts on the screen, its dead. WHen you uninstalled the Nvidia driver, it would have used the standard MS VGA driver (the same as safe mode). If it started rebooting again with the reinstalled driver, its almost guaranteed to be the Video card. Sorry for your loss. frown.gif

Actually - is this card under warranty???.......I'm wondering of the "bake trick" might be in order here. It may rescue an otherwise dead card. No guarantee's though.

Sounds like a dead card i'm afraid. Speak to the seller and see if you can sort out an RMA. If it's out of warranty, you'll have to come to some sort of agreement if it was confirmed as working when he shipped it.

The seller gave me a full refund as his rules in the for sale listing said so all I'm out is some time. Better than $300! Thanks again for the help guys
