Windows 10 Tweaks you should know

After Installing Windows 10 there are some setting you should know to get most out of your system.
Privacy (Click to show)If you are concerned about the privacy statements you accepted from Microsoft, then you need to disable some of their options that tracks your activity while using the system.

Go to Start menu, click on settings and Privacy
General Privacy Settings

And Disable the following settings

  • Let use my Advertising ID for experiences across apps,This advertising ID is used to display advertising across apps downloaded from the Windows Store.
  • Turn on SmartScreen Filter to check web content (URLs) that Windows Store apps use, Some apps you get from the Store are like websites and might expose your computer to potentially unsafe software, such as malware. If you choose to turn this feature on, it collects information about the web content, If you dont use MS Internet Explorer or dont frequently use Microsoft Store then disable it
  • Send Microsoft info about how I write to help us improving typing and writing in the future
  • Let websites provide locally relevant content by accessing my language list.

Location Settings

If you dont want to let the applications know your location, disable it

Camera and Microphone Settings

If you dont want to let the applications know your location without your permision, disable the programs you dont want to use them

Speech, inking & typing
Quote: This is the inking and typing function, which users can turn off at any time. Microsoft does not collect any personal information via inking or typing. It is gathered for product improvement purposes, for example, to improve the handwriting visual translation engine, or to improve the user dictionary, language library and spell check functions in Windows. The data is put through rigorous, multi-pass scrubs to ensure it does not collect sensitive or identifiable fields (e.g., no email addresses, passwords, alpha-numerical data, etc.). Data is also chopped into very small bits and stripped of sequence data so it cannot be put back together or identified. The data samplings collected are limited; Microsoft is not capturing everything you write, nor is it capturing data every time.

In the Speech, Inking, & Typing area, you can let Windows and Cortana better understand your employee's voice and written input by sampling their voice and writing, and by comparing verbal and written input to contact names and calendar entrees.

If you dont use Cortana then disable it.

Account Info

Let apps access my name, picture, and other account info. (Off, unless you require this for select applications. Then leave it on and set permissions per application instead)

Contacts and Calendar

Choose which apps you will allow to access your contacts and calendar

Messaging

Disable this on Desktop PCs, unless you use some application use send MMS/Text

Radios
Disable unless you use some application that use some radio, Like Bluetooth

Other devices

  • Sync with devices. This setting syncs data with Microsoft and other devices you own. If you only use a single device, you may want to disable it. Note that syncing may come in handy when you set up the system anew. (Off)
  • Let apps use trusted devices. (Off, unless required).

Feedback and Diagnostic

Send your device data to Microsoft. If you are not an insider, you may switch the setting to Enhanced or Full. It does not seem possible to turn this off completely.

Quote: Basic information is data that is vital to the operation of Windows. This data helps keep Windows and apps running properly by letting Microsoft know the capabilities of your device, what is installed, and whether Windows is operating correctly. This option also turns on basic error reporting back to Microsoft. If you select this option, we’ll be able to provide updates to Windows (through Windows Update, including malicious software protection by the Malicious Software Removal Tool), but some apps and features may not work correctly or at all.

If this isn't a sticky or recommended post/thread yet someone needs to make it one.

And it should also include this:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930?utm_source=twitter

Thank user @dmfree88 for that as he linked me to it the Win10Club thread to help me out with a driver update issue.
