My entire household still uses it and will continue to until official support ends as I have yet to see any compelling reason to upgrade as 7 still does everything everyone needs it to. Had about 30 people in my neighborhood contact me last year about the forced Windows 10 update and they didn't like it and wanted their old OS back. Made a decent profit reverting to their previous OS last year, thanks Microsoft thumb.gif

I was thinking about installing it onto one of my older dual core desktops, to use to store files, or maybe even sell to someone who would get more use out of it. I am also curious, if W7 is even usable at this stage of W10.

Windows 7 works just as it did before Windows 10 was a thing, nothing much has changed to this day other than improvements since it's release in 2009 for me.

3 of my desktops use Win 10 and 2 other Win 7. I like them both.

Good, good. I just got my partition ready for a dual boot with Linux, & than probably W7.

This. All day. Have a new ASUS laptop (a friends) to de-10 back to 7.

Simply removing the bloatware that came with it took over an hour. Main process in use the whole time? Telemetry! weirdsmiley.gif

Absolutely ...

Several games I love that use PHysX are really hamstrung by Windows 10 ... Borderlands 2 is a great example ... FPS on my Windows 7 desktop machine are almost double what I saw on the same desktop using Windows 10 ... BL2 is still one of my favorite multiplayer games ...

Just built a new 6700K machine about six months ago and Windows 7 was installed immediately ...

I just Windows 10 on my Alienware 17 Pascal laptop, however as I still want to keep up with the new OS ...

Using it with 7700k and M.2 NVMe HDD. So thankful for vulcan, too. Abandoning directx and windows will be seamless when the time comes that win7 is no longer viable.

I'm still using Win 7 on my machines and will do so until I switch over to Linux sometime by the start of 2020 (and will probably continue to use Win 7 in a VM after that for programs that I can't replace with Linux compatible ones).
