Does anyone know what is rundl32.exe it at times uses 99% or my cpu and i don't know what it is any heads up?

im not 100% sure but i think its for windows to run...

Its absolutely necessary. Rundll32.exe is a process which executes DLL's an places their libraries into the memory, so they can be used more efficiently by applications.

Heads up its not for windows to run because when i goto windows task manager its not used by the system, its used by the user

It's obvious something has assumed control of your computer.You will have to go to a site call castlecops.com,download and run a program called hijack this,post your results there and hope someone can help you.

Sorry I thought you meant rundll32.exe and not rundl32.exe. If its rundl32.exe you need to get rid of it!!!!! Ive read that it can be very damaging. Use an antivirus program. Ill see if I can find more on it. And do you use an IRC? It seems that it commonly comes from them.

Yeah i had that problem before it caused me to have to reformat and eventually reinstall windows again to fully get rid of it nortons never picked it up so i trashed nortons and went with ez-antivirus with lifetime upgrades

Yeah, that's a service that allows Windows XP to run .dll's as .exe's...I think
