could Volume Shodow copy service alow a hijack from beaing removed?

Huh?

Do you mean: "Could the Volume Shodow Copy service prevent a hijack from beaing removed?"

Or: "Could the Volume Shodow Copy service alow a hijack to be removed?"

I'm guessing you mean the first one. I really don't have a clue. I would say maybe if you are using the system backup utility. How are you trying to remove the hijack? I would say everyone might as well disable Volume Shadow Copy, unless they need to be able to use the Microsoft Backup Utility.

the way i mean is evey time I try to remove it, it comes back!
I was just wondering if that service was why it was always coming back

You're using "services.msc" or "msconfig"? Always use services.msc to disable services. I just have mine on "manual," so it's never on.
