Yeah it could. It could do Crossfire. It's an ok 700W. It does have an issue with the solder joints on the +12V rectifiers going cold after a couple years (using too large a diode package for the PCB), but that just leads to a silent and harmless failure with low risk of component damage.

If you tried it and it didn't work then it was a faulty unit and could be RMAd.
