In MySQL database I created some important tables

I made connection between it. All the actionis I operated two days ago, whole database worked greatly. In a day, I opened my database to add some new info to my tables, but appeared a message...ERROR 1016: Can't open file. I started searching ways to fix mysql database in Google, unfortunately I only found many tools, that I don't trust. Probably someone knows a little bit more about how to solve this problem with opening?

Is this database hosted somewhere?
Is it local on your machine?
Do you have the exact error message?
What were you doing when the error occurred?
Were you using a program to access the database? What program?

Error 1016 typically results from the .frm file being locked or inaccessible to the system user that MySQL(d) is running as. This error can also occur when you're attempting to dump (backup) your database and there are locked tables. Let me know about the above -- there's a chance that, if it's hosted by someone, they have issues. Unless you inadvertently ran a command that caused the database to crap the bed.
