OCN Classic 2.0 updated

This is an update I've been looking forward to finally accomplishing. With this update, the User CP items on the left side will be highlighted to match where you are in the User CP and the text will become bold.

Here's a screenshot: https://userstyles.org/style_screens...onal_29683.png Notice "Edit Options" on the left side. All of the Control Panel items will do that with this update.

To update, you can go here: https://userstyles.org/styles/154662/ocn-classic-2-0

Or you can go into "Manage styles..." in Stylish, right-click OCN Classic 2.0, and choose "Find Updates".

I just can't win. Ever since I gave the 'Tags' bar at the bottom of thread pages the proper color, that same color has been applied to the 5th post down from the top on any "View all posts" page. So, go to any page where you're viewing all posts by someone (or by you) and you'll see what I mean.

The only way to fix it is by returning the 'Tags' bar back to the distracting #5A6A7F, which is the slightly lighter version of the #46566B of the navbar (the same color as all post headers). Ugh. lol I thought I had this all nailed down too.

Edit: Can I just use JavaScript or jQuery to fix this? I just need to affect https://www.overclock.net/forum/search.php?searchid=* (notice the wildcard)

It didn't work for me. This is what I tried - and it's what made me ask:

PHP Code:
// ==UserScript==
// @ name Fix header color
// @ namespace none
// @ version 1.0
// @ Description This should fix the header color problem
// @ author TwoCables
// @ Include https://www.overclock.net/forum/search.php?searchid=*
// @ Grant none
// @ require https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.3.1.slim.min.js
// ==/UserScript==

(function() {
   $(
"table.tborder:nth-child(10) > tbody:nth-child(1) > tr:nth-child(1) > td:nth-child(1)").css({"background-color""#5A6A7F"});
})();
Spaces added after "@" for the purposes of this post to avoid automatic "mention" parsing.

The issue is, I have to use !important for the Tag header color in CSS otherwise it won't apply. So, this jQuery userscript works without OCN Classic 2.0 applied, but otherwise it doesn't work.

I might have to just leave it as-is forever if I want the Tag header to not be so distracting. This light gray color is perfect.

You need a more accurate selector. I wasn't sure what you needed to change at first, but here it is. Add "div.showthreadPage > " to the style sheet.

Replace this:
PHP Code:
table.tborder:nth-child(10) > tbody:nth-child(1) > tr:nth-child(1) > td:nth-child(1) {

background#DEDEDE !important;

With this:
PHP Code:
div.showthreadPage table.tborder:nth-child(10) > tbody:nth-child(1) > tr:nth-child(1) > td:nth-child(1) {

background#DEDEDE !important;

Oh wow, thank you. That works. The new version is up and ready to install.

How did you find this selector?

Edit: Oh, of course! Check my screenshot. lol I never noticed this part of the Inspector before. Hmm. I have a lot to learn to see how you figured out how to figure out that selector. You really saved the day with this and I'm sure it seemed quite simple. lol This should help me with other problems I have been having too that was holding me back from making some other changes.

OCN Classic 2.0 updated

After a recent update to OCN, the "Tags" box at the bottom of thread pages had the wrong appearance. This update to OCN Classic 2.0 fixes it.

Edit: Apparently, it's no longer working for all thread pages. This is now a work-in-progress.

Edit 2: Bug fix: The feature of the left-side panel in the User CP highlighting was broken. This update fixes it.

If I find anything else that broke while I was on vacation, I'll fix it ASAP.

OCN Classic 2.0 and the Classic Favicon script have both been updated!

I added an "s" to change "http" to "https" for all occurrences of the Overclock.net address so that these scripts work again.

Oh, and hi.
