[CLOSED] i7-10700K

This is a pre-order CPU from Newegg, I can provide proof of purchase if needed.

I did test it, but as you can see in the picture (taken after test) it's clean and in perfect condition.

As for the test result, it's an average chip. I was able to pass R15 52/47 @ 1.36v on an AIO (75c max temp). If you are looking for 100% stability, I am sure 5.1 all cores will be great!

The price is $409 shipped USA, which is what I paid. They are selling on eBay right now for crazy prices

may I ask how come you are selling? are you trying to roll the silicon lottery again? also Is warranty transferable to new owner?

Did you know that 20 US states currently have proposed Digital Right to Repair bills which are moving through the system at various stages? Contact your state's representatives and make sure they understand how important our fair use rights are in the digital age! It is extremely unlikely these will ever see a general election.

I thought Intel warranty was serial based.

Intel warranty is indeed serial number based unless you bought a chip that has been sitting on the shelf for a while and you need warranty toward the end of the warranty period, then you need the receipt to prove the chip is still under warranty as it is 3 years from the date of purchase. I know for sure because I have rma 2 chips so far and was never asked for receipt, and was told of this by the intel support rep.

Thanks for the bumps guys, thread closed, chip deal is done.

As for the RMA I don't know the official ruling but I have done at least 2 RMA's on CPU's which I purchased used and didn't have info (or even box) for. They only care about physical condition and serial number on CPU.

Just to confirm after RMA'ing 3 chips, like stated no need for a receipt at all most of the time.

Serial based warranty works in three ways:

1- Your reseller registers it as sold on the same day you purchased or around that. (Best outcome)
2- Intel registers it when they sell it to the reseller. (Works might lose a couple of months)
3- Reseller registers it when it arrives as they know most will sell like hot cakes, then give you a receipt when you purchase,Can be good and bad, if the receipt for any reason doesn't have the serial (Happened to me once) then Intel can be a little picky but they will come to it in the end.
