I use Fraps, over 2+ years now and im loving it! Everytime I play a game, its not without fraps!

do you ever notice it hindering frame rates or anything? I can't tell yet, I want to try and record some battles in bf2142...

When recording it will take the frame rate down, but it won't make a lot of difference just showing you your current FPS.

using fraps with 64 bit css sucks wind not sure why my system should rock it

It actually lowered my Frame Rates on GTA:San Andreas without recording once....
