I'd like to add,, that Gaming laptop GPu's are often very overclockable given they are using rather conservative clocks as to save power at max load, and for that Their cooling is very sufficient, I've managed to get my sig rigs 6990m from 715 default clock to 900 on stock voltage with only a very slight increase in temps, I think at that speed it's inline with a desktop GTX 560Ti Give or take.

It's actually slower than the GTX 560Ti still, but back up to the 6870 which isn't too far behind. Memory clocks matter a bit too. More-so for CrossfireX; there are very few cards that can manage 2GB of Vram @ 1080p.

There is a difference between Gaming Laptops' cooling though. In other words, the different brands have their own levels of cooling. The Alienware M17x line has always had incredible cooling potential and has always been very good about that; there aren't many laptops out there than can do an i7-2960XM @ 4.4Ghz and only hit 90-92*C. Clevo is next with MSI not far behind. Then comes Toshiba and Asus. (My Qosmio gets nice and toasty. tongue.gif)

EDIT:

I'd like to note this right quick too. To whomever decided to check the box "No." to the poll's question, I'd like an actual answer as to why you put "No."

Realistically, I'll just restart the poll. There's no reason to be a troll here.

You forgot one very good little gamer that really is different from the rest. The only true 13.3 gamer.

Rocks an I3, I5, and I7 options, with a 540m.

I love this laptop.

That's a laptop that can play games... yes... however that's not a Gaming Laptop. If it wasn't built specifically with gaming as one of the primary advertisements, then I wouldn't consider it for that role.

Not to say it isn't a good laptop, I just wouldn't consider it to be of the same level...and for that price...the FORCE 16F2-012 would decimate it.
