Low fan speed = lower FPS

So I recently got an Asus GL703GS with 8750H and a 1070.
I have undervolted it (core voltage offset -0.145v) and applied conductonaut.

Temps are much better; 40-45c idle and it no longer thermal throttles even when running AIDA64.
CPU @ 3.88GHz - 75c (fan 100%)
GPU @ 1835MHz - 70c (fan 100%)

The laptop has 3 fan profiles and they are linked to the GPU's boost clocks.
The problem is this laptops fans are noisy and I prefer to keep it on the silent setting.

I did a bit of testing with Destiny 2

Silent = 1000MHz~1100MHz 85-95 FPS - 55-59c
Balanced = 1600~1700MHz 115-125 FPS - 64-69c
Overboost = 1700~1850MHz 120-135 FPS - 67-72c
Is there a way to unlink the fan profile from the boost clock?

With the modes where ever you're setting them you're not setting fan speeds but likely power limits/performance limits instead.

Getting around this probably means hardware mods because you won't be able to do software mods unless they are readily available.

Yeah unfortunately speedfan is long out of date and there was no option to change the fan speed

I finally found your thread: here's something for you to try: Notebook Fan Control https://github.com/hirschmann/nbfc
