Birthplace of the TJ07 that we all know and love

Coldzero - Portugal

Chilled PC - UK

Martmamod - Germany

MDPC-X - Germany

Nils, at MDPC-X, aside from his famous MDPC cable sleeves, offers an assortment of unique fastening hardware that works so well for this case

The international site is only open during certain times, but all the parts can be seen at the home site when the international site isn't open:

Fastner-Express - USA

A good US-based supplier, that also offers international shipping of the hard-to-find M3 and 6-32 UNC Socket-Head bolts, to replace the Phillips-Head bolts used throughout the TJ07 frame structure:

McMaster-Carr - USA

Another US-based supplier of fastners and miscellaneous hardware useful for computer modifications amongst other things.

You should post up your rig first! EDIT: Ninja'd.

I'll take a shot of the exterior tomorrow, but for now here's the interior.

No real mods done other than paint and cable management. I wanted to make a false floor to cover up the bottom and another piece to cover the back of the disc drive area but I got lazy.

Glad that you started this thread.
It does help to distinguish the TJ07, which in my opinion, is the finest of the Temjin series, from the later Silverstone cases.
No, I don't have a TJ07 (yet) but it's been on my wish list since it came out, a long time ago.
Then, after I first saw this TJ07 build:
http://www.million-dollar-pc.com/systems-2009/murderbox/008/murderbox.htm
I was determined to buy one, one day, and do my own custom build.
But, when you can find a TJ07, they still are very expensive.
As an example, in my area, they are still over $350:eek:

So, I wait, until the opportunity strikes.
Looking forward to seeing some good builds here.

Man, your gonna love it when you finally make the swap. I went from a heavily modded HAF 932 to the TJ07 (when I found one on sale) and I've never looked back!

Heh!
So you can relate, then:p
I agree, there's just no comparison.
I've had my fair share of cases over the years, including a couple of Lian-Li's, but none of them have come close to the TJ07.

I've seen the occasional used TJ07 for sale on some forums, I recently saw one that had some cable-management holes cut, and the interior was powder-coated black. Should have jumped on that one. Ah well, I will just have to keep looking:rolleyes:

Hey, where's all the TJ07 love in this thread?
I'd sure like to see some more TJ07 builds to drool over.
I know, I should just buy one myself and show it, but not for the over $400 price with tax and shipping I still have to pay to get one!

I was wondering if Silverstone is still manufacturing this case. They have all the versions of the Temjin series listed, of course the latest versions as well. When did the TJ07 come out? I think it was in 2006?

Looking at the Silverstone site, they still list the TJ07 with all of their other cases:
http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=92&area=en
Which makes me more curious as to whether they are still making it, is there a fairly big stock in Silverstone's distribution warehouse?

The dealers that I've seen that still sell the TJ07 seem to give you the impression that they only have x number of these cases in stock and that's it, correct me if I'm wrong. That could be because it isn't a high-volume seller, due to it's rather high price. Yes, I do think it's worth a good price because it isn't cheap to make a case of such high quality, but should it really still be selling for around $350+ at the dealers in North America that I've seen it listed?
