My h100 is great. 2600k/4.8ghz/1.38v. Temps in the low 70's while priming. While folding its right below 70c. Hottest core sometimes hit 70.
I was hoping for 5ghz but my chip heats up too much as it takes a big voltage jum. Got into the low 80's.
Here you go, this is from a good guy that has helped a lot me after I showed interest in the case. I was going to buy his but it wasn't for sale yet when I had the cash. Great price.

Me too, I got a couple fans, the controller and some cable extensions. Don't really feel like messing with it. I thought I would need side panel fans for my new gpu. But with a max temp of 55c I think I'm good.

I have a 550d. I love it because it is so customizable. I could go full silence or full performance. Sorry for the slightly older less quality picture. I have change some things since then.

450

Right now I have both panels closed. My ambient temps are around 75c but everything stays around 65c. I just got the artic xtreme. It dumps a lot of heat into my case making everything 65c. Temp wise, I am bottle necked by exhaust. Since I took this picture, I switch my cougar fan with the stock corsair as the exhaust because it has 20 more cfm. I am aiming for positive pressure. I guess I am the only one without a corsair cpu cooler. I do have the nzxt sentry mesh fan controller too

I plan on getting a 14cm fan for the exaust.
I might put handles on it. Something like this.

Sweet another member. This thread needs some activity. I've been wanting to do a couple small updates to mine and add some pics but I haven't had the time to tear into it.

I hear ya. I'm thinking about taking some new photos of my partner's 550D myself. I'm away in VA so will have to wait till I get home, bringing back some new parts: 3570K and 560Ti, also. Consider this a bump. biggrin.gif

Hey guys! Here's my Build with 550D. Not the best looking, but it's ok. kinda had some trouble here and there, but finally finished it in about 4 hours of work lol.

Personally, I don't like the texture of the case. I'll probably like it more as the days go by, but it just wasn't what I was expecting from the pictures. Front door looks and feels really nice though.

I was thinking about doing james888's airflow he showed in his post https://www.overclock.net/t/1256647/corsair-550d-owners-club/40#post_17550765, but maybe leave the top panel open. I have an extra CM fan, since I thought Push Pull for Hyper 212 Evo was gonna be better than just pull. But after reading more about it, I found out it wasn't that much better, so I figured it would be better to just add an extra intake since the 2 front fans aren't very powerful anyway.

Anyway, here's my build.

Looks good man. I agree the texture is different but I like it. You could probably clean those cables up a bit if you route them in the back more.

But just nitpicking thats a nice rig. New members are added. thumb.gif

I'll have some new pics up next week. Have a 7950 on the way to replace my two 4890s. So, will have less cables all over the place and less power draw. (Yaaayyy!!!) Plus will be even quieter, than my two jet engines. Heh.

I get good temps. I keep that fan placement but keep switching the fans around. I think I got this down now. My goal was positive airflow but I seem to not be getting good enough exhaust. So I moved my loudest but most cfm fan to the back exhaust. I have it tamed with a fan controller but I can turn the airflow up and drop 5c on everything. The reason I keep the top on is because I can hear my computer if it is.

Edit:
This video here show corsiar optimized airflow for our 550d's. You don't have to use these corsair fans. Just copy the specs and the placement. If you wanted to use the side panel and the bottom fan I would have them set as intakes with the quietest high airflow fan you can fine, or high airflow with a fan controller.
