Hi guys,

Quick question, im looking at trying to squeeze an EK CE420 rad into my P3 which is the curved glass variant, by looking at the pics and trying fitment with a 480 old rad i had laying around its quickly become apparent that its going to hit against the mounting bars for the glass. I was planning to basically move the radiator over to the left by around 5-10mm to give the clearance needed by drilling new mounting points etc, lowering it down as much as possible as well so it doesnt stick out at the top and going for a 140mm fan pump mounting bracket from EK.

Any possible pitfall you guys can think of why this wouldnt work before i order the waterblocks and a rad please?

Thanks.

Here's mine:

specs:
Core P3 TG curved edition

8700K (delidded)
MSI Meg Ace Z390
16GB Corsair DDR4 3200 CL16
RTX2080 Super founders edition
EVGA GQ 750W PSU

EK D5 Revo 140 pwm pump/res
EK CE420 rad
EK Velocity CPU block, EK Vector GPU fullcover block and backplate

I removed the standard pump bracket and opted for a 140mm fan mounting bracket from EK which allowed me to lower the rad down a fair bit (with new mounting holes and some cutting) so it cleared the top of the case.

I was thinking about going this route based on the ekwb configurator and had the same concerns about fit. Were you able to squeeze in the CE420 without modification?

edit: sorry, missed the parentheses part. How much cutting did you have to do?
